Marci McLeod enters her second year as an assistant athletic trainer. McLeod works primarily with the volleyball and track & field programs.

McLeod is a 2011 graduate of Florida State University, where she earned a bachelor’s of science degree with a focus in athletic training. While with the Seminoles she worked with the cross country, football, softball, swimming and diving, track & field and volleyball teams.

McLeod is certified in first aid, CPR, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and oxygen administration as a professional rescuer. Along with being a Certified Athletic Trainer she is a Certified CPR instructor for the American Red Cross.

She is pursuing her master’s degree in health, exercise and sport science from The Citadel Graduate College and currently resides on Johns Island. McLeod is a native of Jacksonville, Fla.
